I've just always been drawn to boudoir kahit noon pa. Working in events, I'm familiar with bridal boudoir. I'm also drawn to mga lingerie and swimsuit model photos.
Basta, parang at the back of my mind i C knew it's something I'm gonna do some day. I inquired with a couple of boudoir photogs na din before, but somehow it was just always at the back of mind lang, like no urge na "Ok, I wanna do this na." Siguro factor din yung "next time, pag payat na ako".
Then I came across your work (di kona matandaan exactly kelan) and I loved how artistic your work is. can also feel how much this work means to you when i read your posts. Like it's something precious.
Your work reminded me of Nicholas Freeman (@nicholas_freeman_art in IG), may shoot siya with this content creator I follow na gustong gusto ko kaya ni-follow ko din sya. This is not to compare ha. May distinct styles kayo. Ang same is SUPER ARTISTIC and that's what I like. Pinag-isipan yung trabaho, yon!
Anyway, siguro timing na din na l am at a what I wanna call a "transitioning season" (haha, imbento ko lang yan). Transitioning kasi, I'm consciously choosing to not to put off things / wanna do for myself anymore, which was the case for the past years. And symbolic na din kasi 40 is the new 20! So here we are.
HOW WAS YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE?
It was comfortable and honestly an experience every woman should try at least once. And I think it becomes even more beautiful when you do it at a time when you're not at your most confident, because it makes you see yourself with new eyes.
Hans and Dana make you feel so comfortable, like you've known them for a long time already. There's no awkward or judgmental energy at all. They never make you feel like you're "not modeling right" or not doing enough
There's also a certain sense of freedom in it. Since no one else is watching, you get to just be yourself without overthinking anything. I remember them saying that what they were really offering was the experience, and that the photos were just a bonus.
They were absolutely right. The experience itself was already so special, and the photos ended up being an absolute treat on top of that.
Honestly, it didn't even feel like a photoshoot. It just felt like being in my own element and being allowed to see the best version of myself.

WHY BOUDOIR?
Ohhh I was actually planning to do this shoot as a birthday gift for my partner so Ive spent time looking through your portfolio and Google Drive, and your style really stood out to me as the most professional in Manila since I'm looking for a session that feels both high-quality and comfortable and your work gave me the confidence that you're the right fit for that.
I really trust your artistic vision and your ability to see what angles and lighting will work best for me. I'm more than happy to just follow your guidance and let you direct me on how to move and where to be captured!
That said, since this is a birthday gift for my partner, I have a feeling he might have a few specific "visions" or concepts he'd love to see. I'm planning to check in with him for any "requests", so I'd love to keep the door open to incorporate a few of his ideas into the mix on the day of the shoot
Well, the initial spark for this session was a birthday gift for my partner, but honestly, this project is just as much for me. Even before I met my boyfriend, I'd been thinking about doing a boudoir shoot. I'm in my mid-20s right now and I'm very aware that my body is going to change eventually whether it's just getting older or life simply happening.
I want to capture this "peak" version of myself while I feel this way, before things shift by an inch or so hahah My vision is to create something that feels timeless. I want photos that my partner will love as a gift, but also photos that I can look back on years from now and feel incredibly proud of the confidence I had in my 20s.
HOW WAS YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE?
We just got home and I had to message you right away. I'm still kind of sitting with everything and just...WoW.
Thank you, really. I didn't expect to feel that comfortable, that quickly. TBH At the start I was a little nervous (you could probably also tell naman) but it just melted away so fast because of how you both are. It just felt easy and naturaL.... like I could actually relax and be in my body instead of overthinking every little thing There were so many moments where I caught myself thinking,
"wait, this is actually so fun?" and even laughing in between shots. I didn't expect that at all. And the way you guided me without making it feel forced or stiff...it made such a difference.
DID WE MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
I'm genuinely so happy I met you both. You have this really special way of making people feel seen and safe without it feeling intense or intimidating. It just felt warm and real the whole time. I felt feeling kind of...floaty? In a good way. Like softer, more confident, more me. I don't even know how to explain it properly, but it stuck with me all the way home
I seriously can't wait to see the photos. I already have a feeling I'm going to be like "is that really me??" the whole time hahaha Thank you again for everything! It really meant a lot.

Kasi in public I never get to post sexy bikini shots kasi conservative family tapos yung profession ko pa mdo ano din hahah Kaya I wanna unleash it here sa photo shoot nato. Sexy, sensual pero not cheap tignan haha
Sayang nga dko nagawa prior to pregnancy. Nung may abs pa ko haha I wanna capture the beauty and shape of my body now. Sana di pa ko manas haha

My boudoir experience was excellent! I felt comfortable and they really know how to get you out of your shell. And they also now how to shoot you in your best angles.

Knina ko pa gusto mag message kaso natagalan ako dun sa mineet up ko sa mall knina hehe... Conscious kasi tiga ako sa angles pag nagpipicture kasi usually ung fats kita pero kakatuwa nakukuha nyo ung flaterring angles kahit buntis hehe... Galing..

DID WE MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
I usually am a person that has a concept in mind and finds it hard to verbalise it. But Hans and Dana were able to extract it from me in less words and turn it to the art I envision. I am a non conformist person hence by doing boudoir for my maternity shoot was the best decision!
It didn't give fantasies like the usual maternity shoots. What Hans and Dana showed was art focused on who I really am, my body and the beautiful changes my body is going through.

WHY BOUDOIR?
I saw one post on bride to be group page on to na magandang gift daw for their groom is boudoir and one bride to be recommended you as one of her photographer and sinearch ko saig and saw your post and portfolio and nainlove agad ako sa outputs :)
My vision, actually noon ko pa gusto maka experience ng ganitong klase ng photoshoot. I've never experience pa kahit anong formal photoshoot like may professional photographer talaga). Kahit self click studio, di ko pa rin naexperience.
But everytime na may nakikita anong pics sa fb and ig na mga girls na very confident sila sa harap ng cam like unbothered hahaha and grabe sila magpose and magcompose ng aura nila. And I envy that kind of confidence. But I always imagining myself to be captured like that. And beyond pa ung nailmagine ko like what if maexperience ko mag boudoir session? Lalo na now na i will be married soon, just want to have a memory of me na some time on my youth i became confident on my own face and body

super worth it po ng boudoir experience ko as a first timer sa lahat, make up, photoshoot, and pagiging liberated, hindi manlang ako nakaramdam ng awkwardness. Nahiya nung una, kinabahan nung una, pero super saya naman pala di ko rin inexpect na magagawa ko pala yun. Syempre with your guidance po, naging smooth lang lahat ng flow ng shoot grabeee. I'm not expecting naman kung ano meron sa shoot, pero grabeeeee beyond expectations pa yung mga nangyare. I love the soft lighting and dark effect, the overall mood of the photos in your portfolio feels classy and sexy. The highlights on the body's curves and lines dre beautiful, with the right balance of sensuality and art.
It's a milestone year for me, 40th birthday. I had a boudoir session before my wedding 12 years ago, when I was 27 years old. I chose to do it for myself, knowing I wanted to start a family soon, and at that time I truly felt my sexiest physically because / was preparing for my wedding. Looking back now, it was one of the best decisions and investments I've made. Even after 12 years, those photos still make me feel sexy, and they inspired me to consider another boudoir session for my 40th birthday.
This time, while I may not feel my sexiest in a purely physical sense, I feel confident in the wisdom and experiences I gained over the years. Sort of changed woman lol. As a woman, I feel more fulfilled, more excited about life, and ready to honor this milestone.
I want to capture this version of myself, knowing that 10 or 20 years from now, I'll look back on these images with happiness and pride.
HOW WAS YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE?
Bitin!!! Pauwi pa lang from the shoot pero I was thinking na kailan ako magbook ulit. I felt comfortable around Hans, Dana, and Maj. They were warm and professional which made the whole experience easy kasi ang inisip ko na lang was myself and enjoying the moment.
The location has great lighting and the overall vibe was very tasteful and classy. The playlist also helped me relaxed and get in the mood. Kapag nagwawander yung mind ko and napapaisip if kaya ko ba biglang magshift yung focus ko sa background music then im back. Haha! Overall, it was a fun and empowering experience.
DID WE MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS?
Yes!!! I haven't browsed through all the pics yet, pero may nakita pa lang akong 1-5 shots sa isang set, nasabi ko na agad.. shet, sulit!!! Raw photos pa lang yun, sobrang ganda ng lighting. As in parang kahit ndi ko na muna tignan lahat ng photos, super happy na ko kasi ung pina experience ung product hindi yung photos. Hihi Kaya nga gusto ko pa ng round 2. Ndi na ko magdadala ng wardrobe hahahahaha
It made me appreciate my skin more and the overall result was amazing. Nawala bigla yung insecurities ko about not having a flawless skin. The pictures helped me realized that real beauty isn't about being perfect, it's in the overall aura, confidence and how you carry yourself. Kaya nga gusto ko na ng round 2 after this realization. It's also one of the reasons why I love looking at your posts kasi ang ganda talagang mga shots. They give different perspectives on how to see the beauty of our bodies and celebrate our uniqueness.

I've seen your posts pop up on Instagram a few times, / think through ads. Then I came across your "What to Expect" post, and that really stood out to me. It gave me a sense of safety that it's not just about taking beautiful photos, but about the experience itself and celebrating oneself.
I stumbled upon your Instagram account and was immediately drawn to the emotions behind your photos not just how stunning they look (though that's definitely a bonus), but how real they feel. Then I read what you shared about boudoir sessions and what to expect, and it really resonated with me. I love how you emphasize the experience being one with yourself, expressing who you are, and embracing your confidence. it's only recently that l've become almost 100% confident in my body and I truly love it, especially right now. I see this session as a way to celebrate that. It's a personal milestone for me because it's been such a long journey to reach this point of having a healthy and loving relationship with my body.

Honestly, I'm still speechless. The whole experience felt surreal especially when you showed me the photos right after taking them. I kept thinking, "Daaaaamn, that's really me?!" I used to just admire other people's photos from your feed, and now I'm the one in front of the lens. It felt empowering, unreal, and so special. Super bitin!"
